Paper Roll - Frame

This frame was done using waste papers. I  cut out  the A-4 size paper into two portions, and rolled it. Just simply roll the paper and glue the ends. Your frame is ready.
Here I have used watercolors, and I don't want them to bright. As the oldman painting was done by using watercolor (It's my childhood painting). I framed it using watercolor paper rolls.

Waste Invitation cards crafts

In most of our Indian homes, we get Wedding Invitation cards, and instead of throwing it, we could do some cute crafts .

I did this box using Invitation card. I made it with lid, so I used to store my lip balms/stationary products in this box.

Some of the card design looks classy, so I don't like to throw it , and turned into decorative box.

For framing - In one of the wedding invitation card, I noticed Lord Ganapati and Sai babi with their mantras. So I just framed them with black cello tape.

Making your own greeting card is quite simple.

 How I did it:

Step 1 :- Folded  the Sheet into two halves.

Tree Decor

Tree Decor is art from waste craft. I have used old glass bottles and dead branches of a tree.

Thing's you'll require to do :

Glass bottle - old or any other vase
A small branch of a tree
Colors - Black, red , gold
Varnish

My holy basil tree died of scorching heat, so I used them as a home decor. This is used for two purposes, one as home decor and another as my earrings holder. Now I am using it as earring holder, hanging my cute jewelry on branches.

I painted the glass bottle with black as base, and then gold paint on it. It's always looks good if we are using base as black or white on glass bottles or for  any crafts.

Painted my tree with black and red, and its look cute as though bought it from stores.

Things you'll require are:-

1) Cardboard ( waste one because you need to draw the designs on the cardboard)

2) Invitation card designs or stickers of your choice

Bookmarks - Vintage girl

Vintage girl bookmark - waste invitation card crafts

Instructions:

1) Draw any cartoons or your personal favorite figures on the cardboard. I drew a vintage girl because this was 15 yrs old bookmark. I did this bookmark during my school days.

2) I painted using watercolors and cut out the many designs from the invitation cards.

3) Finally decorated the girl with cut out designs and glitter pens for her jewelry.

4) Once you completed the design, you could highlight using glitter pens of same color.

Here, I have used baby pink for her long skirt and outlined using pink and green glitter pens.

Popsicle/ Ice-Cream Stick Coasters

I did this Tea Coasters using Popsicle sticks.

Things you'll require is

Sticks - 9 ( I have used 9 for a circle, and if you want short coasters too you could prepare)

Glue

Painting colors of your choice

Popsicle stick coasters

Close view of Popsicle coasters

How to do this:

1) First arrange the sticks vertically on a single horizontal stick.

2) Now draw a circle using any round device or CD or  Jar caps or compass. ( I used my compass, yes the mathematical device)

3) After completing the circle, cut it out , and allow it to dry for an hour or leave it for one day.

Why I am saying these coasters to dry completely for one day is because it would be more stronger and not in a breaking condition or rip apart while painting within few seconds.

4) Paint your own designs to it. I love vintage designs, so for my Popsicle coasters I want my version of vintage roses.

How about this Vintage roses Popsicle Coasters? Do you like this idea? Please feel free to comment about it
